Sports: Mike D'antoni Resigns As Knicks Head Coach

As of Wednesday Mike D'antoni, along with his assistants Phil Weber and his brother Dan, has resigned from the Knicks coaching staff leaving the team in awe. Even though he was known to bump heads with Carmelo Anthony he had the support of the teams core leaving his decision as a shock to them. Mike Woodson who was slated as the Knicks emergency replacement will be coaching the team against the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday night and will be assisted by the two holdovers, Kenny Atkinson and Herb Williams. So all we can do now is see where the team takes it from here.
